VISION:
People of all ages would be self-actuated to come to the Durga Temple, participate in religious prayer and worship ceremonies, and develop an understanding of Hindu philosophy and heritage.

MISSION:
• Maintain Sanctity of the Temple
• Start Puja with a prayer and meditation
• Arrange and perform Puja with utmost devotion
• Explain the meaning of mantras and Puja steps to the children and devotees
• Make Sankalpa in the name of devotees and sponsors
• Perform birthday, marriage, anniversary, and other ceremonies and services
• Discuss Hindu Philosophies, teachings of Bhagavad Gita, Swami Vivekananda, and Ramakrishna
• Arrange after Puja devotional Music with devotee participation

OBJECTIVES:
• Develop responsibilities of Religious Activity Support Committees
• Develop Sunday Puja Support Schedule
• Develop Temple Opening Schedule
• Develop Weekly Puja & Priest Assignment Schedule
• Conduct weekly Pujas & other Services
• Schedule monthly discussions on Hinduism and related religious topics
• Assist Barshiki Puja Committee in carrying out Yearly three Pujas
• Develop job descriptions for a permanent Priest for HDBS
• Celebrate and offer Puja for Mother like persons on Mothersday
• Celebrate and offer Puja for Father like persons on Fathersday
• Celebrate and offer Puja for new Graduates on Graduatesday
• Organize Hatekhari (first learning ceremony) on Saraswati Puja
• Develop Temple Use Policy
• Arrange HDBS School Children to come to the temple and participate in worship ceremony once a month.
